By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
Eligibility
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• We may require identity verification (e.g., BVN, NIN, valid ID) in compliance with CBN regulations.
Our Services
FuturePayNG provides secure digital payment services, including but not limited to:
• Money transfers (to bank accounts, mobile numbers, and FuturePayID).
• QR Code payments.
• NFC Tap-to-Pay transactions.
• Bill and utility payments.
• Scheduled and delayed payments (including cancellable transactions).
• FuturePayID accounts for easy collections.
• Escrow-style restricted payments.
• AI-driven customer support.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue any feature at our discretion.
User Responsibilities
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and PIN.
• You agree not to use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
• You agree to notify us immediately of unauthorized access or security breaches.
• You must comply with all applicable Nigerian laws, including CBN regulations, NDPR, and anti-money laundering rules.
Payments & Fees
• Some transactions may attract fees, displayed before you complete payment.
• You authorize us to debit your account or linked payment method for Services you request.
• Refunds and cancellations are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Service Availability
• While we strive to ensure uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, secure, or error-free.
• We may suspend or restrict Services for maintenance, security, or regulatory compliance.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, designs, software, and content provided through our Services are owned by FuturePay Tech Solutions Nigeria Limited and protected under applicable laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without prior written consent.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services if you:
• Breach these Terms,
• Provide false or misleading information,
• Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity,
• Violate applicable laws or regulatory requirements.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.
Limitation of Liability
• Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, FuturePayNG shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees you paid for the Services in the past 3 months.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute shall first be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Abuja under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, before resorting to courts.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website/app with the updated date. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
