General Policy

• All transactions made through FuturePayNG are considered final once successfully processed.
• Refunds or cancellations are only permitted under specific circumstances described below.
• We do not provide cash refunds for completed transactions unless required by law or regulatory obligation.

Eligible Refund & Cancellation Cases

You may be eligible for a refund or cancellation in the following cases:
1. Duplicate Transactions – if you are charged twice for the same transaction.
2. Failed Transactions – if funds were debited from your account but the transaction was not completed.
3. Cancelled Scheduled/Delayed Payments – if you cancel before the payment execution date.
4. Unauthorized Transactions – if you promptly notify us of a transaction you did not authorize, subject to investigation.
5. Service Errors – if a payment fails due to a technical fault on our platform.

Non-Refundable Transactions

Refunds are not available in the following cases:
• Completed airtime, data, or bill payments.
• Transactions where incorrect details (e.g., wrong account number, phone number, or biller ID) were provided by you.
• Payments made to third parties outside our control.
• Transactions that were successful and delivered as instructed.

How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

• You must contact our AI-powered support system or email [email protected] within 48 hours of the transaction.
• Provide transaction details such as reference number, date, amount, and screenshots (if available).
• Refunds are subject to verification and investigation before approval.

Refund Processing Timeline

• Approved refunds will be credited back to your FuturePay wallet, bank account, or original payment method within 7–14 business days.
• Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank, biller, or third-party processors.

Liability Disclaimer

• FuturePayNG is not liable for delays in refunds caused by banks, mobile operators, or third-party service providers.
• We are not responsible for losses arising from user error (such as incorrect beneficiary details).

Regulatory Compliance

This Policy is subject to guidelines from:
• The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),
• The Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS), and
• Other applicable laws and regulations.
